How do I tell my mom ?

How do I tell my mom "I'm ready to have sex" even though I've already had my first time? I want her to trust me by telling her... But last time when I said that (when I was actually ready for my first time) She said I was too young, and just got into the relationship.. So that's when I took matters into my own hands and went to plan parenthood to get the birth control.. But then I got caught 👀😂 ... I told them I just went up there to talk, and I'm not using anything.. And I just wanted to prepare myself just in case.. That's when my dad got incolved.. And I just want to be able to tell my mom, without my dad knowing.. How did you tell ur mom?

I didn't tell my parents I was ready to have sex because my body doesn't belong to them. It's slightly creepy she thinks she's in control of that aspect of your life. Advice is fine, but not control. You can do what you please. I don't think you should've been worried about getting CAUGHT for getting birth control, love. You're doing the right, responsible thing. Your parents should not be responsible for your sexual life, unless you had a partner where statutory rape could become a factor, but I'm assuming that's not the case. Please don't feel like you need to run your decisions about something so personal by your parents. They do not own rights to your body. You decide if you want to have sex.

I told my mom at a doctors appointment! I've been on birth control since 16 for acne but I'm also on antibiotics witch can interfere with how effective your birth control is, but it didn't matter because I wasn't having sex. When I first started having sex a year ago (I'm 18 almost 19) I went in for a check up and since I was 18 I thought they'd call me back without my mom and I would be able to ask my doctor if my antibiotics would interfere with my birth control. Well my mom went back with me, and I knew I had to ask the doctor because I really wanted to be safe. So while we were waiting I told her I wanted to talk to my doctor about my birth control and she said "why, you're not having sex are you" and I looked down and said "yeah, do you hate me" and she said no. She had actually lost her virginity younger than me so I think she was glad I made it to the legal age of having sex, she didn't tell my dad. He had told me before he doesn't want to know about it he just wanted me to be safe. Everyone's parents are different though (MINE WERE REALLY STRICT) but I've always had a very open relationship with my mom so I felt so releaved after I had told her because it felt like I had been keeping a secret from my best friend. Good luck telling your mom, just keep in mind she may say she's disappointed or upset. Parents often paint a picture of how they want us to be and when it doesn't go as planned it can be hard for them. But they'll always love you. She may even be proud of you for getting birth control because at least you were trying to be smart about it :)

Just talk to her, tell her thatyou have already made your decision and have really thought about it and you just want to be safe, she will probably find it really grown up and mature that you are having the conversation with her

Well wait until your birthday. Then tell them. It's like when you turn 17 your parents just automatically look at you as more of an adult. Don't say oh I'm ready to have sex. Say I need to be on birth control. But I want this to stay between me and you for awhile. Wording is everything. And if she starts to over react explain to her you can to her like an adult trying to be responsible and safe. And she should be about to understand that.
