Should I worry?

Last night my boyfriend said something that I'm stressing over. We were talking about his ex. He said the sex with her was great but he'd rather have a hand job than be with her and her drama. I know I can't compare to her in the sack but his comment bugs me. Although he tells me he's happier than he's been in years, and that he loves me I worry, that I won't satisfy him. Am I worrying for nothing?

He probably meant it as a compliment just went about it in the wrong way. It's like he's saying you're a far better person than she is and he's not just with you for physical reasons but because he actually likes you for you! I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just tell him calmly how his comment made feel just so he's aware of it

I used to worry about this stuff all the time because my bf had a bad habit of talking about his ex's. I've seen a couple of them and they were hot. I am nothing compared to them, but the point is he's with me now. I used to get really depressed if I lingered too long on the thought of them in bed together, because I'm not very skinny, I'm not flexible at all, and I was a virgin when I met him. I had done nothing, so I was horrible at everything. But we've been together over a year now and I can finally say that I don't worry about his ex's anymore. There's a reason he's with me now. So I think you're worrying over nothing. If he still wanted her, he'd be with her one way or another. But he's with your hot self, so be confident

You're worrying for nothing. I don't think that was a jab at you. It just means he would rather have a measly handjob than go back to her. She's good in bed but she's still not worth it.

Talk to him about it. If my boyfriend ever said something like that to me (he won't because we lost our virginity to each other) I would say "well you don't have to worry about that because you're with me and you don't have to choose between a hand job or sex with her so stop talking about it" there was no reason for him to say that. I think talking about ex's in a relationship is uncalled for and especially why he said.

Something I've really had to focus on with guys is that they aren't too great at conveying exactly what they mean. They'll say something thinking you will automatically assume what's going on in their head. Just ask what he meant if you're really worried!!

I know how you feel. Although my boyfriend was a virgin. Him and his ex dated for like three years! I'm a freshmen and he's a sophomore. She broke up with him at the beginning of his sophomore year. And I ended up getting dumped around the same time with an ex I only dated for like a month. And I believe somewhere along the line fate happened there. We are almost 7 months and he got me a promise ring at 6 months. But befor he got me it, I was scared he would dump me for her. She is such a whore, she would come around where we hung out in ass shorts and would pull them up right when she saw us, and I was scared he would realize that he does still like her. But now I don't stress. She's trash and I'm class. It will just take some time, but don't think about it to much.
