Nuvaring question: sex without the ring during period

I know this is TMI, but hey I guess I'll that's the point of these posts. I'm on Nuvaring and took it out during the week of my period (3 weeks on, one week off). I had sex with my boyfriend this week, while in the middle of my period. I'm aware that you can take the ring out for up to 3 hours and have sex while still being protected, but what about when it's out for a week during your period? Can you get pregnant while having sex on your period? I've never had sex on my period until this week, but I'm wondering if I can still get pregnant, bc the Nuvaring was out. He didn't cum inside me, more like on me lol, but I don't know if I should be worried.
