Just got a colds And doula has the flu!
My due date has come and gone and I picked up a cold yesterday. I was hoping it was just a chest cold, but I started feeling achy and tired today. I've been in bed since noon trying to nap.
Also, my doula called this afternoon to tell me she has the flu and is not suppose to be outta bed for the next two days, and she wouldn't want to be around a newborn for at least a few days after that at least.
I know life happens, but this has me really bummed out. My husband will be with me, but she was my stabilizing point. My midwife is going to be at a conference most of this week, so she won't even be able to check in with us even if she's not the one on call.
I guess I'm just more nervous now.
