Feeling guilty

Feeling guilty for scheduling an induction. I'm a FTM and have been having contractions since Tuesday but not progressing past 1cm. My mom had to be induced with her pregnancies and had successful vaginal deliveries with pitocin but without the epidural. I'm hoping for the same but scared of c section. Scheduled induction is Tuesday and due date is Wednesday. My maternity leave also starts this week so I don't want to waste it without baby. I just don't know how to feel.
