feminism or equalism?

don't worry ladies I'm fully prepared for any back handed comments I could get from this post.

I do not call myself a feminist but and equalist as I prefer to have equality for all rather then subbing to a name that is mainly giving help to women.  Men are put down from some crazy man hating feminists for just being born that way as how you and I were born they didn't choose they were just born.

I'm with you. The feminist name is so clouded with misandry and crazy people I just don't want to participate in that. If you ask someone who defends it why they don't focus as much on men it's always "so and so doesn't happen as much as it does to women", meaning they don't matter as much because they're numbers are smaller. You're joking right? You know how fucked up that is?

I choose not to identify as a feminist. That's not to minimize all the work done generations before me. But today, women have it pretty damn good in the US. 
Whereas men are turned away at domestic violence shelters. When two drunk folks have sex, it's perceived that "she can't consent, she was under the influence!"... When both were under the influence and therefore the male could not consent either (I've witnessed it time and time again in court). 
Humans are born with certain natural rights... Life, liberty and property. Laws that favor one gender over the other sometimes restrict the liberty of others.

Granted, this is all coming from your friendly, compassionate, neighborhood anarchist, haha, but I choose to not identify as a feminist.

I can understand not identifying as feminist. Usually if I tell someone that I am they assume all the negative things. But I use it ass an opportunity to teach them that feminism is about equality.
