Im 2 days late now but the pregnancy test I took came back negative. Ideas of why?

What is FMU? I used the clearblue digital. I use to have realllllllly irregular periods, like every 4 months or so, but since November, it's all been really regular. I'm just scared I'm not pregnant and my body is going back to irregularity.
