MIL ISSUES?

I know it's not baby related but who else has a mother inlaw who likes to run things!? She's trying to control my labor and how I do things after baby is born.. she's even making me get rid of my cat because "she can kill him". I feel like im in a relationship with two people!!!!

I'd like to see someone, anyone, try to make me get rid of my cat. My home would be rid of that person immediately, and I wouldn't care who it is. Our cat has been our baby for 11 years and is just now getting his first human sibling. No body messes with my fur baby lol.

If anyone told me to get rid of my cat id tell them to go fuck themselves. Im so sick of all the bull society throws at u as a parent and the ways babies die. I don't believe in the sids bull. Parents over compensate causing accidents. (My personal opinion) i would have a talk with ur hubby and ask him to ask her to back off a little bit. ☺ i usually just ignore my mil. She bugs me too. Im just lucky shes selfish and i hardly ever see her

I would ask your SO to let her know to calm down before YOU let her know.  Lol my husbands family spoke to my MIL before she visited.  Especially after I kicked my own mom out of the house for being crazy.  Just make sure she knows you appreciate any help but this is your baby.  And not your first go around goodness.  Good luck!

Mine is opposite, hasn't asked me once how I'm doing, how's the pregnancy, nothing.  Has kinda felt like she doesn't care but I guess I should be happy she's not overly involving herself. That would be worse. Hang in there :)
