When to tell work your pregnant

Now I know I'm pregnant. I'm wondering when I should tell my boss??

I'm waiting till it is pretty obvious so bump will dictate when I say something. I am hoping to make it till at least 14 wks. It is definitely hard some days with being nauseous ALLLL day and really tired when I manage a hotel. Always smiling and moving, when all I really want to do is lay down.

I've had such terrible morning sickness that I had to tell at 8 weeks. But my employer is super flexible so telling them has only made my life easier. But seriously, you can only use "food poisoning" for so many days.

Have you had an ultrasound yet?! Is everything confirmed to be developing as planned? If so, I would pray about it & you will know when the right time is.

I've told my boss right away. It has made it much easier to take time off for appointments and also there a bit more understanding about me being a little lazier than usual (I work a very active job). I also told them right away with my first pregnancy, unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage at which point I was extremely grateful to have the support and understanding of my superiors as I recovered.

I'm Waiting till I'm 13w just to be sure everything is ok,  and the chance of miscarriage is much less.  Unless you work in an environment that could harm your baby.
