Sex is worth the wait?

I'm 17 and am currently single. I understand this isn't an age to want to try these things but I'm just very curious. I want to hear everyone's experience especially those who waited for marriage. Just a bit of my background... My family is very religious like my parent is a pastor. I feel as though a part of me that sex is natural yet I will disappoint those if I were to have Sex... What does everyone think?
