Another word for speech therapist?

Question

I want someone to help me get rid of my American accent that I picked up in IB schools. Would that be a speech therapist or do they only help with articulation?

I think elocution lessons are what you would look for but I'm not 100% sure!

I know this is old but search for Accent Modification in your area. I’m a speech therapist that has done some accent mod on the side but not everyone does it. Some people who do accent mod are SLPs but you don’t necessarily have to be - our educational background helps with accent mod
