Essential oils?

Are they okay when you're pregnant?

I know certain oils are not ok but I'm not sure which ones. I'm staying away from all of them for now.

Depends on the oil. Some are ok and a lot are not ok. You have to look them up

Crap. I just used thieves oil on my neck for my tension headache! It started burning super bad and I washed it off with water then thought I'd post and ask. I hope I'm okay 😁😁😁😁😁

I use rose hip oil at night on my cheeks for pigmentation on my face. I've read conflicting things about whether or not it is safe during pregnancy.

Seems most say to avoid it all together to be on the safe side. I think I'll go that route just in case. Freaks me out!

I've used them I got one called belly rub for my nausea and it was from a maternity store, I've also used them in my water. Haven't heard anything negative so maybe I should look into it.

You have to be REALLY careful! I've read not to apply them at all but some are ok for aromatherapy. There are guides online to help.

You're supposed to stay away from basically ALL essential oils the first trimester. It's awful because besides using them, my lotions have them! I'm just using coconut oil everywhere instead. 
During the second and third trimester, there's a list of safe and helpful essential oils that you can find online. :)
