So I gave birth 8 weeks ago tomorrow. I had a 2nd degree tear and stitches. I've been extremely frustrated that I'm still sore down there and even the other day, I experienced a small amount of bleeding coming from the site where my stitches healed. I called the dr and she said "it can be normal. Some people just take longer to heal." But when I looked down there today, I noticed that what I thought was just a red section of skin near my stitches, is actually a tiny flap of skin that seems to have healed outside of my stitches. I am ticked off honestly. Im ready to be able to have sex and feel normal again and im just kind of grossed out that my vagina has a skin tag. 😑 when I googled it, apparently it's extremely common and sometimes women go in and get them removed. But has anyone else experienced this and has anyone left it or has it just healed up on its own??
