But does anyone have any tips on getting rid of a sore throat? I've had the flu since Monday and finally today I feel half way better but I have a horrible stuffed nose and to top it off the worst throat ache of my life. My tonsils are swollen, I have multiple puss pockets and swollen lympnoids in my throat. I went to the DR and he did a rapid strep which came back negative so he basically said go home. I've been off work and out of school for 5 days completely bed ridden and I don't have time for this right now. I've been on consistent ibuprofen, DayQuil, NyQuil I've tried the theraflu for sore throats, chloreseptic spray, warm salt water gargle. I'm running out of things to do and I can't afford to be sick another day. Please help!!
