Nope. People on here always get offended over what I comment and my reply is always the same- I'm sorry that everyone feels the need to sugar coat things for u. I'm not.  That doesn't mean you can call me names and unfair insult me.  It simply means that some of us to feel the need to baby u, just so u don't take things the wrong way.  If you asked us for our personal opinion on sonething, you have no right to get offended or nasty, when people ACTUALLY give you their personal opinions. NOT everyone answers the same and not everyone is as nice or sugar coats everything for others.  Some are ruthless. But YOU asked for it.

Anything you say can be offensive to someone. That's on them, not you. If you have a different opinion than someone, more than likely that person will get offended. Doesn't matter how nice or simply you put it, there's always someone who will have a problem.

I think it's about knowing your audience. There are some people that respond to someone being blunt. There are other people that will shut down or get defensive with that approach. I think there's also a difference between not sugar coating things and being rude.
