Does anyone have ways that actually work to make money while staying home with your child? 

My only other option is requesting to work 4 days a week & not 5. However, I'm already part time and idk how well this would go over. I'm afraid to even ask. My son is cared for in the afternoons Monday-Friday so I can work and I have made my employer aware of this. However, things are changing and idk if I can get care for him all 5 days and I don't want to pay part time rates at a daycare for only 1 afternoon a week. How would I go about asking to go 4 days without getting myself in trouble?
