Science experiment with OPK

So I've heard this rumor around the Internet that OPKs can pick up HCG in early pregnancy, unreliable to be sure. BUT just for fun, since I have time to kill during my TWW I figured I should pee on some OPKs for good measure.

Baseline data (high school science teacher would be very proud right about now...) I have a cycle like a ticking clock that is 27 days and I reliably ovulate on CD 14. Today I'm 10 DPO and am expecting my period in three days. I'll start testing with an early response tomorrow.

Here is my OPK from today at DPO 10....hmmmm!? I'll keep you all posted! I'm fully aware this isn't a positive OPK BUT it is unusually dark for this point in my late late leutal phase!
