Infection???

Can I get an infection even if Iv'ed only been with one person in my entire life? We're eachothere's first and been having sex for 3 yrs. we haven't been intimate for 2 months and durning that time I noticed I started getting a lot of discharge yellowish and it smells! HELP PLEASE!

Sounds like a yeast infection. Have you been consuming large amounts of sugar? Are you stressed? Are you close to your period?
Candida albicans is a fungus (yeast) that is present in the vagina. Yeasts feed on sugar , and when we get close to our period we tend to binge on sweets , don't we. So by consuming tons of sugar we are actually feeding the yeast. More sugar,  more yeast! 
You can get rid of your infection using over the counter treatments, but I like to see my doctor for some antibiotics (I feel it works better and without having to worry about creams) , most likely they will give you fluconazole .

You don't have to be sexually active to get a feminine infection. Lots of things can effect your vaginal health. See your doctor.

Yeah it's possible you don't nessicarly get infections from sex other things can cause them just go to your doctor  you will probably just be put on antibiotics
