What's next after Chlomid?

Hi all.

My husband and I have been ttc for 5+ years. We conceived naturally twice 1 -2 years ago but both ended in MC. We have recently finished a 6 month cycle of 50mg Chlomid with no luck. I have an appt to see my specialist gynae doc in June but I'm not sure what I can ask him to do next....He isn't very forth coming and his English is very difficult to understand. I intend to ask him to up the chlomid to 100mg/150mg but have been reading about people talking of "trigger shots" Whilst they are using it. Can someone please explain to me exactly what this is all about and how it helps etc. We are unable to do ivf as cannot afford it and we aren't eligible on NHS so chlomid is our only option I think. I don't know if there is anything else we could try though and I can't bear to give up yet. Please help.

Edit: I had a 21 day progesterone test done on 1st month and it came out at 80 so I did ovulate at last with the Chlomid (I don't without tho)
