Estheticians help!

I dont know were to put this. Id like to become an esthetician to support myself through college, the course is about a year long and costs about 2k. Overall I've heard great reviews. However do estheticians make good money? Do you like your job? How are clients? Id really like some help and dont know where else to ask!
