I hate when someone is asking for advice and they give a back story then some snooty person comes along and says "well I would never do this or that..." (Whatever this or that is) Well, that's why we aren't talking about YOU. We are discussing the person that DID do it and how they need help. When people do things like that to me, I no longer care to hear what they have to say because it's not coming from a genuine place. It's coming from a condescending place filled with judgment. Do people understand that everybody in the world is different and if someone is asking for help, that person doesn't give a damn what you never did or would never do. How is that helpful? It's just some snarky comment to make you feel good about yourself rather than help somebody out. #dobetter
