Abusive Relationship ?

I am in a really weird relationship with this guy. We always hang out and when we are together, just the two of us, he's great. But he gets snappy when I ask him ahout him personal life, and always gets reall angry when my life doesn't revolve around him. When we are in a public environment (around friends or something) he acts like he doesn't know me, or that i'm being annoying. He always tells me that he doesn't get why other people find me attractive, and never calls me his girlfriend even though EVERYBODY knows something is going on between us. He also makes really insensitive jokes a lot and even though he is black, tells me he thinks black girls are ugly and he has "white girl fever". My friends have told me that these are the signs of an abusive relationship growing, but I dont know for sure. Any advice?
