Is it bad that I'm relieved my baby showers are over? I'm grateful for gifts but I'd rather just see my friends in a situation where we actually have time to talk! My MIL threw her shower at an all-inclusive place so that was relatively stress free for all; but my mom is disabled (and can't afford a place that does the food/decor) so I had to calm her down and help with everything yesterday ... I was so exhausted at the end of the day that I moped in bed while my husband took my mom & his parents out to a nice restaurant. Now I gotta get ready to celebrate my Dad's 60th birthday since I won't be able to do the 3 hour trip again this month! Then I'm doing nothing (you know besides working full time) until baby comes!!!
