Blocked tubes?

Has anyone had blocked tubes? Is it true that IVF is only way to conceive if they are blocked?

I had blocked tubes and my gyno did a laporscopy (I have endometriosis) a dnc and the die to clean my tubes out. He said I should be able to get pregnant now.

No.  They can clear your blocked tubes and then you might be able to conceive on your own.

I have my tubes block for about 4 years and me n my fiancé was trying to get pregnant but we can't because my ob doctor recommended us to do the IVF instead so we gonna have it a try so we can have our first baby together

I only have one tube due to an ectopic 3 years ago. I went to my ob and he had me do a vag ultrasound and got the results and told me to try for 3 months. When I went back in after those 3 months he tells me my only tube is blocked!! I was so frustrated bc why did he tell me to try if he saw it was blocked 😭😡 now he wants me to go see a reproductive endocrinology and have an hsg exam I just don't have the money for it and insurance won't cover it!! This makes me feel hopeless 😩

My doctor told me it best I don't get my tubes untied because of my age and I don't have enough eggs to get pregnant on my own so she recommend me to do the ivf idk this will be my first time doing this any advice

Hey there...wow its crazy but im goin through almost the same...i have one blocked tube and im now on second round of clomid....i think im goin to change drs soon...

I had both tubes blocked, but was able to clear one tube. My fertility doctor said we may have to remove the blocked one bc it could cause more issues if I did get pregnant

My doctor recommended I go for test to see if they are blocked. My hsuabnds semen analysis came back normal. We haven't been trying a year yet, but I am so impatient. Everyone keeps telling me to stop worrying about it but I can't help it. Any advice?
