Anyone had success with nipple stimulation?

Whether they were suckled, pumped or just tweaked. How long did you do it before you went into labor?

I've been pumping since 39 & a few days, I'm currently 40&3 and nothing. I get contractions but just BH.

I tried it once a few days ago, nothing. Tried it again yesterday morning and holy shit the contractions were insane!!! But unfortunately it was prodromal labor, i was getting really strong contractions every 5-6 minutes but wasn't causing any dilation or anything so they sent me home 😑
Still having really bad contractions, but i don't think they're helping me dilate. I used a breast pump for about 15 minutes, I'm not sure if thats what contributed but thats what happened to me

My sister pumped for an hour the night she went into labor. She was 40+4 though so that might have had something to do with it.

Does it work? Someone told me it was bad because it messes with how the placenta works or something... Tricks it to think it's done doing its job or something....??

I tried it earlier. 15 minutes each side for an hour. I don't feel any different but I'll let y'all know if anything happens.
