Does any one has azma?

So my friend the other day had an asthma attack it scared me and she had to go to the hospital? Is it true that I could have asthma and not even know it?

Asthma usually doesn't have a sudden onset (overall; meaning you don't just randomly get diagnosed with it) as an illness but asthma attacks can be sudden onset due to allergen triggers or stress. Asthma is characterized by wheezing and difficulty breathing. Generally you can sense it coming on, and it does not have to be life threatening if you have access to a rescue inhaler or a nearby ER.

If you don't have any symptoms, you are probably safe, but if you have allergies of any kind, talk to your doctor about your chances of having an asthma attack.
