Ovulation test help!!?

I took a clearblue digital ovulation test friday. It showed a smiley face for peak fertility. It stayed in the window until this morning. I went and retested this evening to see and it was a circle meaning low fertility. I ejected the stick and the line looked like it did when i had the smiley face. Do the lines matter on the digital tests? Could the test I took on Friday been wrong?
