Did/do Jews have a prophet?

Question

Yeah I know all prophets are important for religion in general and Jesus is being referred as god's son but do you know if Jews had a prophet or something like that? And whats his name?

I'm not sure where to start with this. I really think it would be best to just do some research on the religion, but in short:

Jews and Christians were one people until Jesus. They shared the same stories and revered the same people like Moses, Abraham, and Solomon. The split was over whether Jesus was THE PROPHET or not. The Jews are still waiting for who they believe will fill that role.

In the Jewish faith there are many prophets. Abraham, Moses, Miriam, Ezekiel, etc. I think you are confusing what a prophet is to what the savior is. Jesus is the savior according to Christians. Prophets see into the future.
