Went in Saturday morning to be induced. They started the meds at 9am. By 3p I was calling out for an epidural due to the contractions giving me horrible migraines. By 5 my baby boys heart decided it couldn't handle the contractions very well only to find out he had his cord tightly around his neck. They decided to stop my labor completely and try to let my body do it naturally. Well we had two more scares of his hb dropping and by 11 my dr finally decided to show up and check everything out. I was only 8cm dilated but with very very soft cervix. He thought it was best to try and "sneak" my baby out as he out it.. With every other contraction he had me push while he slightly pushed my cervix back over his head after 20 mins pushing my baby made his entrance into the world. At a wonderful 6lbs 9oz and 19.5 in long. He is absolutely perfect and healthy and breastfeeding like a champ.
