Omg, this happened to me last month! There are no notes on the Internet or packaging to say what it means with the error message and with a pregnant symbol too! Unfortunately, when I spoke to my doctor he said the error means the test hasn't worked properly and when I was retested I got a BFN :( but this doesn't mean you aren't pregnant! I would retest and get the result from a properly working test! Good luck xx

Mine did the same thing with the little book symbol it meant error. I didn't angle the tip in the urine properly and for 20 seconds.

The +/- test did not work if either the results window or control window remains blank after 10 minutes. The digital test did not work if the hourglass symbol did not appear or if, after the hourglass symbol stops flashing, the screen goes blank or the symbols of a book and arrow appear in the display window
