What's everyone's views on announcing ?

What's everyone's views on announcing to the world or fb they're pregnant? Is anyone going to share photos and such?

I plan on telling the rest of our family and friends in person or on the phone, followed by Facebook at the twelve week mark. I see nothing wrong with sharing the happy news. ☺️

I've told a couple people, will tell work and family at 12 weeks. I think announcements are totally stupid and annoying. I don't even have a facebook because of stupid things like that.

Parents and best friends are gonna find out this weekend. I am soooooooo so excited! Everyone else will find out probably at 20 weeks when we have a normal ultrasound.

Only close family and to my best friend! Rest may only see the baby pic after she/he was born! :)

I want to wait til July and take a photo of my kids with a sign...something cute about the 4th and a baby haven't decided yet lol. I figure by then I'm far enough along.

I'm telling close friends and family first then will share with people I know on Facebook after my 12 week scan. I met my favourite band last week and they helped me with an announcement photo 😂

I'm having scans every 2 weeks because of a hormone imbalance treatment and history of miscarriage. We've already told our family that we are (as they know we're high risk, and honestly I just don't feel like jumping straight to the 'we had another miscarriage' bit, if we do lose again we want to have shared the fun bit too)

But our doctor says if we get to 8 weeks and see growth and a heartbeat then we've overcome the reason I miscarry, the treatment has worked and there's a 98% chance we'll have the baby - so we're going to announce at 8 weeks.

At for weeks we told our immediate family (brothers sister parents) . Then I told my friends mom randomly who told a bunch of people and yesterday I told my nana. It's kind of gotten out of control but we're so excited. We're not telling our friends/ co workers until 8 weeks and then at 12 weeks we will post a photo announcement

I'm not going to announce untill 12 weeks, I will probably post a photo of my ultrasound up :)
