We have been trying to conceived for 17 months now. I take metformin twice a day and had a hysteroscopy in October to gain further diagnosis as the metformin was not regulating my cycle and wasn't in line with my previous diagnosis of PCOS. The hysteroscopy showed everything was normal and fine but I was told to take met until further notice. My doctor prescribed me clomid to start cycle days 5-9 of my next cycle, this was a couple of months ago and I am now getting desperate as ovulation is no closer. I temp using a bbt each day and when I do ovulate I get a natural rise in temperature showing I do ovulate, it is just random in nature. My Doctor advised that if ovulation doesn't occur after 30 days since 1st use of clomid to take again. My question is I am cycle day 60, can I start my first round now? I haven't used clomid previously during this cycle?
