My boyfriend and I have been together for two years and three months. Since our one year he has been talking about getting me a promise ring and I really want one. He has told me that he's ordered one and had it made and it never comes in (because he doesn't actually get it). I know he loves me no doubt and I know a promise ring doesn't have to be goven to symbolize love but he talks about it but never gets it. He says that he doesn't have the money but he always buys parts for his truck. Am I over reacting to be a little upset about it?
