How much are ovulation kits? And how do they work?

Never took one before, and I heard glow can be off a week or whatever...any advice?

You can get ovulation predictor "kits" from any pharmacy or Wal-Mart. Basically, you just need a thermometer to check your basal body temperature every morning BEFORE you get out of bed (this is key!! It must be an accurate reading of your resting body temp!!!) and then ovulation tests, which look just like pregnancy tests (yep, you've gotta pee on a stick). Basically, when you're in your fertile window (which Glow can help you to identify), you'll want to test every morning to see if you're ovulating by peeing on one of the ovulation test sticks. The best chances of conceiving are when you have sex the day BEFORE you ovulate.

If you are serious about concieving, buy the expensive ones! Clear blue you can get 20 tests for about $60. You just pee on it and if you have a surge in hormones a smiley face will appear. It was so worth it to buy the after trying to use the cheap ones
