Does being in the bigger side make a difference?

I weighed 230 lbs when I got pregnant three years ago with my daughter and I felt the flutters at 12 weeks. Actually seeing the kicks is another story entirely. The first time I saw the kicks and movement of my belly I was 22 weeks. Weight has nothing to do with FEELING the baby though. I hate when people accuse me of lying when I said I could feel movement that soon just because I'm obese lol. Doesn't matter if your internal organs are covered in a bunch of layers of fat, you still feel if your stomach is upset or if you have menstrual cramps or even your belly rumbling from being hungry lol so why wouldn't you at least be able to feel a baby moving all around inside your uterus?

I'm not sure about being on the bigger side but depending on where the placenta is can make it a little more difficult to feel movements.
