Can I get your experiences with the copper iud?

Question

So I'm on my 5th month with it and I'm experiencing the worst cramps ever. I've been trying to hold out until the 7th month to see if I should remove it. This is normal right?

I have the Paraguard IUD and the period cramps never go away. (I never had cramps while on my cycle until after I got the IUD)
If the cramps are consistent, like NON STOP even when you are NOT on your period then I would get it checked out.
But if it's normal, period cramps, they won't stop. Mine never have and I'm going on my 4th year.

I don't have a copper IUD but I have mirena and they told me 6 months was when it should normal out. I had the worst cramps of my life but now I don't have any irregular cramping, just my normal. But it was crazy shit.

I had the Paragard and didn't have any cramping. If the cramping continues you should go to the doctor. You don't want it to be out of place and perforate your uterus.
