How to get birth control

My periods are so messy, they're early, this ones late and I've had pills to stop my period while I go on holiday. My friends are all on birth control, I want to be on it but my mum doesn't think I need it at this age because I'm only 14 but it would be a huge help. Any ideas how I could convince her into letting me go on birth control? Thank you💕
