I met my.husband on a college group on Skype.in 2007... Hes from Santiago,.Chile... I visited and we dated long distance 3 years.. Got engaged and did a K1 visa for.him to come live here that took a year  and we were married January 20th 2011.. And weve been married 5 years and expecting our son next month..

I married my husband from Korea. We met online on a language exchange program and became friends for two years. After I had gotten out of an abusive relationship with my sons father, we met in person shortly after, fell in love, and quickly married before his visa expired. We have been married for a little over a year, we lost our baby a few weeks ago and he just passed his green card interview yesterday. Going through the process of immigration is a lot of work but things are finally looking up 😊

Yes and no. Yes my husband was born in a different country.  (He's Vietnamese) But he came here as a teenager and has been a us citizen for many years.  We met at work (lol he was my boss). I would not have married him if he was not already a citizen.  I would have been wondering in the back of my head if he wanted to marry me for papers or because he actually loved me.

My partner is from Chile, but was granted amnesty in this country at 3 yrs old. He had to leave with his mother during the terrible dictatorship that happened there. He has yet to become a citizen here nearly 40 yrs later after 2 very long term relationships where he never married. Due to the scary political situation in this country and impending doom of the coming election, I plan on asking him to marry me this year. He hasn't married for citizenship yet, so if he says yes, I know it will be for the right reasons. Honestly I would rather live with him in Chile someday, but he still cannot be there for more than 6 months at a time.

Yes! Just talk about where you would like to settle because that can be the biggest obstacle... My family was very upset to find out that we would move to Germany eventually, now they are fine with it and realize I'm very happy with my husband and living in Germany. Husband is from germany, also work out the cultural differences even with their family and especially concerning children. Germany and US pretty similar but other countries differences with raising children and other big factors

Yes! I'm in Texas, husband is from England. We've been happily married for 3 years. We met because my sister was going to study abroad there and his sister was going to host her during her trip. The study abroad never happened because we were too busy with the wedding! Immigration was a pain and took forever (also crazy expensive--like $10k)
, but it was worth it!
