Sonograms

Did anyone else not get an ultrasound at all until they were completely out of the first trimester? I keep having women talk to me as if I should be worried because I haven't gotten one. I have heard the heartbeat and have had NO problematic symptoms. I'm getting my first ultrasound done tomorrow at 13w6d and I'm excited (not scared) it honestly pisses me off that people are so negative and saying "oh something could be wrong and you wouldn't know yet"
