Pains in buttcheek...?

Question

Does anyone else get a stabbing pain in their butt cheeks/lower backs when they bend over or move a certain way ? What is it !? It's really ticking me off. Idk what it is or if it's just me.. Or how to stop it. Feels like I pulled a muscle, that's the type of pain but I know I didn't! It ranges from both cheeks too lol. At first it was just the left and now it's the right.  Im also 11w2d

I have the same problem I asked my doctor n he said it is totally normal during pregnancy the baby is on ur nerve so that is why it hurts he said that stretching can help also being n a pool n taking a warm shower so that the baby can change positions

Sounds like sciatica to me. I have it too.. it only bothers me when I'm pregnant or when I'm lifting heavy stuff all day. Nothing really makes it go away right now. I lye on a hard floor and do back stretches and with that and a good night sleep, it's better in the AM. But it's back every night.

It sounds like maybe it's your sciatica. Your sciatic nerve runs from the base of your some through the buttocks and into both legs. Try icing it with a hard ice pack, sit on it. The cold and the pressure helps. Also you can Google "sciatic stretches" and those will help too. But if baby is sitting on your nerve or may not go away.

I've got a problem with where the muscles join up with my pelvis on one side which causes some sharp pains but also a dull ache. I've seen the doctor and got referred for physiotherapy.  They think it's caused by the hormone relaxin messing with the ligaments and tendons. I've been given a series of stretches and exercises to do which seems to be helping.
