So I have been off of birth control for a few months now and decided to switch to the patch. As the directions say, one option is to put the patch on on the first day of your period, so that is what I did. I got my period yesterday and put the patch on immediatley (it says within the first 24 hours). I expected my period to stop but I kept bleeding and through the night bleed alot and am still bleeding heavy today. I normally bleed relatively heavy but is this normal to bleed while I am on the patch? Is the patch supposed to stop my period this first round like I thought ??
