12th week scan, devastating news. I need your help!
Hello all,
I am going through a hard time atm. Yesterday we went to the hospital for the 12 week scan. All this time I was having all the pg symptoms severely. I thought all was going well just to hear that the baby had no heartbeat and stopped growing at 6 weeks.
This was my first baby and conceived withing the first month of trying.
I went through 2 ultrasounds yesterday and I will be getting one more next Wednesday just to confirm this. I'm not hoping for anything as we are sure about the dates so I am waiting to miscarry. If that doesn't happen the doctor gave me two choices after that, tablets or the standard surgical vacuum procedure.
I know about the procedure but nothing about the tablets. Has anyone taken them? What is the process and how does it work? I'm scared because I heard it is painful and not good for your body to take these meds.
