So I got my finally got period yesterday after being 2 weeks late (super stressed at work and with life). I decided last week that whenever I do get my period I'm going on the pill cuz I hate this guessing game of when is it going to start. Also, mine lasts for 8 days which is insanely long. So I took the pill last night cuz they say to take it the first day of your period. Though it's important to note that when I got my period this go around the blood was bright red and almost translucent. I had just finished taking antibiotics for a cold AND yeast infection medication. (What a shitty week that was). So it seemed strange already. This morning I woke up with a significantly lighter flow than usual after the first day of my period. Is this the pill? Or is my period just funky because of all the medication or mucus in the vagina? I never have unprotected sex either. My bf and I are paranoid so we use condoms and pull out method together in case the condom breaks. (It hasn't but again we're paranoid). So does the pill effect the period right away? Should I be worried? 😩 lol
