Daith piercing?

Question

So I've been hearing a lot about how getting your daith pierced helps with migraine relief, and I've thought about doing it to try but my fiance isn't big on piercings. So I just wondered if anyone on here has done it and had it actually help relieve their migraines?

I don't have it and can't comment on that. However, I have heard that it doesn't ALWAYS help with migraines in every person therefore you should *like* or *want* the piercing outside of the migraine relief.

I mean who cares what your fiancé wants? I'm sorry if it sounds harsh but I think my biggest pet peeve is people who won't do something to their body just because of their significant other. The question is if it doesn't work will YOU like it. If I had migraines I'd get it simply because I love piercings and if it didn't work I'd be fine with it, my fiancé isn't a huge fan of piercings either but that never stopped me from having a million ear piercings or getting my tongue pierced at one point. He doesn't like tattoos either but I do and he loves me/respects my decisions enough to deal with the fact that I'm getting one right on my forearm. So i guess my point is if the piercing does work for some but not for others and the real question is will YOU be okay with it if ot doesn't?

My step mom got hers done and loves it so far. If my migraines get really bad again after I have the baby then I will be getting mine done.

I have not tried it yet but seriously want to. Until some one deals with migraines they have no idea the hell it is. I was considering going to get acupuncture  done and having them actually mark the right spot before getting pierced though because I read about how if it is on the wrong spot it can actually make it worse.  I think its a cute piercing anyways but you can get flesh tone jewelry if you don't want it to be as noticeable.

I have mine and I love it. Not only is it super cute but I haven't had a migraine since! This was the main reason I got it, I had them every day for over a year and I couldn't take it anymore. Honestly, if it didn't help, I would still keep it because it's just too cute!
