Misoprostol for incomplete miscarriage?
Has anyone been given misoprostol for remaining tissue (incomplete miscarriage)? I had miscarriage in January. Just now they are finding out that I have remaining tissue left (14 weeks later). I took misoprostol in January to induce the miscarriage but didn't take all the pills. I took only half and stopped once I passed the sac. Dr says that's why my hcg level is stuck at 12, miscarriage was incomplete, and will not go back to normal until tissue is removed. I AM TRYING TO AVOID D&C because I have already had 2 csections. So, she gave me misoprostol again to see if I will pass the remaining tissue 14 weeks later. Has anyone had any success or any experience with this?? Would appreciate any advice please!
