Bed rest anyone?

I had a scary episode of heavy bleeding in 12week. I was hospitalised and now i am
Having brown discharge. Doc says i have retrochroniac hematoma andthe clot size is 2 cm and low lyinh placenta. 
I am on complete bedrest and i feel so sad that i am unable to enjoy my pregnancy like res of you all. 
Cant buy maternity clothes cos i am going to be on a long bed rest wont be going out. 
I am just scared everyday cos of brown discharge.i feel i am really unlucky who is having such troubled pregnancy. 
Rhis is my first time and i might not plan another one. I feel v sad. What to do?will everything be ok.has anyone gonet through this and has had a healthy pregnancy.

The same thing happened to us. Finally at week 12 when we thought we were in the safe trimester, I had bleeding and went to ER and they found a subchorionic hematoma at 3cm by 2 cm by 3cm. I was put on bed rest and ultrasound again in one week. During this time I read a lot and went for second option and many doctors believe that bed rest is not the best, that you need to get a little fresh air and maybe 10 min walk 2 times a day. This is what I did and my brown discharge stopped. I will now do almost bedrest (get up once in a while, etc.)

So sorry you are going through this. I am 13
Weeks with my first and have been spotted at weeks 5,6, 8, and 11. Was told that is was normal just to limit activity and stay on pelvic rest. Had a formal u/s last week and the placenta is really low covering my crevix. I can only do
Light activity and stay on pelvic rest. If I have any more spotting may have to go on bedrest. I understand your frustration of wanting to have a normal pregnancy. Will keep you in my thought and prayers. I just try to think about the baby and how much I want him or her to be born safely. Good luck xoxox

My friend had similar and she is now 8 months pregnant! Ale sure the Drs fully explain what they mean by bed rest. After the first few weeks she was allowed in a car for ten mins and allowed to sit up so we go and take her out to a cafe a couple of time a week. She has done loads of jobs to help us. Planned holidays etc and has learnt to crochet and see and has made loads of little things for the baby. She does also have some maternity clothes as people come and visit quite a lot.

ive been bleeding since 11 weeks, yet i have no reason as to why this is happening. ive had 3 scans since ive had bleeding & baby is still there! i pray for both of us that we have happy healthy babies xx

Just got done with the Sonography. Everything is normal. Baby is all good. Placenta is low with a clot. But that should be fine with the bed rest. Thank you all for being with me.
