We announced our first baby to our parents on Mother's Day with this hand painted sign! This time around, we announced on Easter.

We announced yesterday. Mother's Day is already a trigger to so many moms suffering from a loss or for those who long to be a mother. So I didn't want to be the cause of any more pain to those women by announcing on Mother's Day. (I had a loss in October and know I avoided Facebook and social media on holidays because of announcements. Not that I didn't want them to have joy, I was just missing my own.)
