It does tend to take a toll. I had my son before me and my husband met. He doesn't have any children yet and we both want some together. We've been together almost five years now and I still haven't gotten pregnant. So it frustrates him because he feels like I'm not trying hard enough since I already have one and it frustrates me because I want nothing more than to give him one.

My boyfriend and I have been on and off for a very long time. We've been together for two consecutive years this time round. At the beginning of our relationship I was pregnant and we ended up miscarrying. That pregnancy was not planned. Since then I've had pretty bad baby fever but we decided to wait until September of 2014. I asked if that was still the plan in august and he decided he wasn't ready. So that literally shattered my heart. We have since then talked about it and hopefully will start trying again within the next year.

My husband has had baby fever for 2 years, since our daughter was born. I'm much more interested in a pet lizard than another baby.

I learned right before we got married (sept 2014) that DH has baby fever as bad as I do, he's just not as vocal about it. And my problem is that I tried to hold it in but would end up in tears at bedtime. As soon as we got married I got off the pill.

My husband takes the approach of it will happen when it happens.  If it doesn't it was not suppose to be.  We have been trying for four years.    It is difficult because I have baby fever and want him to want it as much as I do.  We are going to couples therapy for that among other things but it makes things difficult between us.
