Mother's' Day?

Question

My husband hasn't really done anything for me today, and today is my first Mothers' Day, after having my son on Thursday.  But here's the thing--I'm totally okay with that! Because I'm not his mother! Am I the only one who feel this way?

I will add, that he didn't do anything specifically for Mothers' Day.  Last night was our first night home from the hospital, and he stayed up with our little guy for three hours when he refused to be put down.  But nothing specific to Mothers' Day.

I'm sure you're not the only one that feels like that but I would be. Maybe not this time around because you JUST gave birth and it can be over whelming for both of you but I would be a little upset if my SO didn't do anything for Mother's Day as my baby will be 11 months tomorrow!

Don't fill left out..I had to work today n my BF just cleaned the house n washed the clothes n kind of helped out taking my daugthers hair out nothing to special lol
