So I'm almost done with my dental assisting school and I really don't like it. I'm not even remotely interested in it and I've grown to dispise it. And yes, I've done the "hands on" for it. It's not any better. I think it's because my instructor refused to teach throughout the course and I feel lost. All she did was sit and gossip about the other students... I'm going to finish of course because I'm almost done anyhow. I'm only 20, but this makes me feel like a failure. I think the reason I also dislike it is because I was rushed into it. I was working before and looking into school to try to figure out what I really wanted to do, but I was basically told "pick something today or we're kicking you out". It's not that I didn't want to go to school, or that I'm lazy, I was just having a hard time finding what I want to do. What should I do? Any advice would be helpful.
